Maggot staining red

Red (pink) color will give the most ordinary boiled beets. Beets need to be boiled, then allowed to cool to room temperature and grated on a fine grater. Then take the container, put the grated beets in it and add the maggot requiring coloring to it.

Maggot is not a person, it easily turns into the color of the food eaten, and the longer it sits in beets, the more its color will be closer to that of beetroot. If you need pink, then either the beets should be taken lighter, or not overexposed in the container.

You can use cherries or cherries instead of beets – it will also turn out beautifully.

Maggot staining yellow

Yellow. To do this, you need boiled finely chopped egg yolk. The essence is the same – grated yolk is placed in a container and maggot is planted, which is kept there until the desired color is obtained.

The brighter the color of the yolk, the brighter the maggot will be, the paler – the lighter the maggot will have, and the maggot that has eaten an overcooked egg with a very light yolk may not get yellow, but an incomprehensible grayish tint.

Multi-colored maggots are, of course, good, just do not forget that harmful fish may prefer maggots in their usual colors, so it will be unreasonable to paint all available maggots. Better in the evening to plant part of the maggots in beets, part in peas, a little in cottage cheese, and part must be left unpainted. Well, do not forget that this color is short-lived, and will come off as soon as the food changes, and with it the contents of the stomach.
